The APR Stage I ECU Upgrade is the first step towards making more power! This simple upgrade requires no engine hardware modifications, and produces 288-299 HP with 363-374 FT-LBS of torque depending on fuel grade. Gains as high as 66-75 HP and 93-104 FT-LBS of torque are available throughout the power band, depending on fuel grade and factory output, making the vehicle exceptionally quicker in all scenarios. Boost leaks are a common cause for running issues and power loss on turbocharged vehicles. Leaks can come from scenarios as simple as a tiny hole in an intercooler or charge piping, a leaky connection, damaged DV or PCV and/or any number of other locations making troubleshooting very difficult. Furthermore, locating a leak is made more difficult due to the necessity to pressurizing the system, which typically only occurs while physically operating the vehicle. The APR Boost Leak Testing Systems allows for both visual and auditory inspection on a stationary vehicle. Earlier this year we developed a new cast downpipe for these turbocharger systems, which may interest you. The new cast downpipe is now available for purchase for those interested in updating their system to the latest specifications. The new design offers a smoother flow path for exhaust gasses exiting the turbo, with several advances in terms of quality, fitment and more. The system is cast from 304 stainless steel, with a high quality, low profile flex section, thick billet bracket, integrated o2 bung and bracket, and beautiful argon-back-purged TIG welding. The system also includes a new replacement gasket and nuts.
This part is compatible with the following setups:
- APR Stage III/III+ GT2860RS, GT2871R, GT3071R and GTX2867R
- Transverse 2.0T EA113 and EA888 Gen 1 engines
- 6MT, DSG and Tip Tronic transmissions
- Front and all wheel drive systems
